FAQs.

  • DETAILED PORTRAIT: Crafting a Detailed Portrait painting is an intricate process that demands over 20-30 hours of meticulous attention to detail and precision, and even more time for a larger artwork. Each stroke of the brush is carefully considered to capture the essence and intricacies of the subject, resulting in a lifelike representation that resonates with depth and emotion. My pricing for these bespoke artworks start from $1,200 (excludes framing and delivery) which reflects not only the time and skill invested but also the unparalleled quality and value that each piece embodies. As you invest in one of my Detailed Portrait paintings, you're not just acquiring a work of art, but a timeless piece that captures the essence of its subject in stunning realism.

EXPRESSIVE PORTRAIT: Expressive Alla Prima style oil and acrylic paintings offer a more accessible option compared to hyper-real works, as they require less time to complete. While Detailed Portrait paintings demand over 20-30 hours of meticulous attention to detail, Alla Prima pieces can achieve their expressive quality in a shorter timeframe. With starting prices from $550 (excludes framing and delivery), my pricing for these dynamic artworks reflects the dedication and skill invested, providing exceptional value without compromising quality. Investing in an Alla Prima style painting means acquiring not just a beautiful piece of art, but also a vibrant representation that captures the essence of its subject with flair and emotion.

  • I paint in oil and acrylic on canvas or board. Each medium has its own unique qualities, and I can help you choose the best one based on your preferences and requirements.

I am dedicated to excellence in every aspect of our work, which is why I exclusively use professional-grade paints, canvases and boards. By employing only the finest quality supplies, I ensure that each work meets the highest standards of durability, vibrancy, and longevity.

  • I offer flexibility in size, ensuring that every client receives a personalised work of art tailored to their preferences. Whether it's a petite portrait or a grand statement piece, the emotion and intimacy shine through, making each painting a cherished treasure.

I believe that small-sized portraits possess a unique charm, offering an intimate glimpse into the subject's world while evoking powerful emotions.

However, larger sized pet portraits contributes to a vibrant portrayal, evoking a deeper emotional connection between the viewer and their cherished pet. These larger-than-life portraits not only showcase the physical features but also convey the unique spirit and energy of the animal, creating a captivating and memorable tribute.

  • The time it takes to complete a pet portrait depends on various factors such as the medium, size of the portrait, the complexity of the pet's features, and my current workload. Typically, it can take anywhere from 2 to 12 weeks from the time of commissioning to deliver. We will discuss timing expectations during the initial consultation.

OIL PAINTING: I take great pride in the meticulous attention to detail that goes into creating each of my oil paintings. This process demands time, patience, and precision from the initial strokes to the final touches and every aspect is carefully considered to meet my exacting standards of excellence. After completion, the paintings require adequate drying time before they can be safely packaged and delivered to my customers. Lead times vary depending on the size and complexity of the artwork, generally ranging from 4-12 weeks from the date of order placement to delivery.

ACRYLIC PAINTING: Crafting each of my acrylic paintings involves a meticulous process where attention to detail is paramount. From the initial strokes to the final touches, every aspect is carefully considered to ensure high quality. Unlike oil paintings, acrylics have a shorter drying time, allowing for a quicker turnaround. Generally, lead times range from 4 to 8 weeks from the date of order placement to delivery, depending on the size and complexity of the artwork.

While I understand the anticipation of receiving your artwork, I assure you that the wait will be worth it, reflecting my unwavering commitment to delivering nothing short of perfection.
